Why Visit 88 Hot Spring Resort in Pansol, Laguna
Pansol is well-known for its natural hot springs, and 88 Hot Spring Resort offers what people come here for: access to hot spring pools and swimming pools you can enjoy all day. It’s a good pick if you want a simple, no-fuss outing where your main agenda is to relax, float around, and reset your mood.
This resort works well for weekend trips, birthdays, reunions, and spontaneous “tara, swimming tayo” plans. The vibe is easy and welcoming, making it a solid choice for a Laguna day tour resort.
Our Experience: We Availed the ₱980 Day Tour Package
During our visit, we availed the ₱980 Entrance Only day tour package. It already felt sulit because it includes lockers and access to all hot spring and swimming pools, so you can enjoy the whole area without needing to reserve a private room.
If you’re the type who just wants pool time and a place to cool down (or warm up in the hot spring), this package is a great starter option—especially for first-timers who want to test the experience.
Day Tour Rates at 88 Hot Spring Resort
Based on the resort’s posted day tour flyer, the Entrance Only rate is ₱980 for adults and ₱780 for kids. There’s also an Entrance + Cottage option listed at ₱1,200 for adults and ₱900 for kids, which can be useful if you want a guaranteed “home base” for your group.
For operating hours, the flyer shows Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.
Cottages, Seating, and Where to Rest Between Swims
If you’re visiting with family or a bigger group, a cottage is helpful because it gives you a dedicated place to sit, eat, and leave your things. The flyer lists Standard Kubo cottages (6–8 persons) at ₱1,500, located near the pool area in the open field. It also lists Lagoon Cottages (6–8 persons) at ₱1,000, located around the lagoon area and open field.
For smaller groups or if you just need extra seating, there’s a round table rental with six chairs for ₱700.
The flyer also mentions free swing-type cottages near the pool area in the open field. These are first come, first served and have a maximum of six people per cottage. It also notes that cottages for rent and swing-type cottages are available until 8:00 PM only, so plan your rest time earlier in the day.
Food Policy: No Outside Food, But There’s a Restaurant Inside
One important thing to know before you go is that bringing food is not allowed. The good news is you won’t go hungry because the resort has a restaurant inside serving good food. That’s actually convenient—after swimming and soaking, it’s nice to order a proper meal without worrying about coolers, reheating, or messy packing.
Tips for a Better Day Tour
If you’re visiting on a weekend, it’s smart to arrive early because popular day tour resorts in Pansol can get busy. An early arrival also gives you a better shot at available seating, especially if you’re hoping to use the free swing-type cottages.
Bring towels, extra clothes, slippers, and basic toiletries so you can freshen up after pool time. If you’re taking photos, late afternoon usually gives the nicest lighting, and the pools tend to look extra inviting around that time.
